Summer Missions

Adventure Awaits! Calling all youth to embark on a transformative journey with our upcoming summer mission trips. Dive into a summer of purpose, growth, and service as we venture into new communities to make a positive impact. Whether it's building homes, fostering connections, or spreading kindness, these mission trips are a chance to discover the power of compassion and teamwork.

College & High School Missions - Salkahatcie 

During the week of July 13-20th, 2024 we are heading to a Salkahatcie camp somewhere here in SC! Salkahatcie is a mission camp experience like no other where you are pared up with other missionaries from across the state to do meaningful service for homeowners. The complete list of camp locations will be announced in early 2024, therefore we will pick the camp at that time but you can register now here to join in on the fun. For more info about Salk go to

High School & Middle School - East Bank, WV

During the week of June 30-July 6th, 2024 we are heading to East Bank, West Virginia for a mission trip to serve with Group Missions. Make a Difference in East Bank! Join us for community service missions in East Bank, WV, where we'll come together to lend a helping hand and create positive change. From revitalizing public spaces to supporting local initiatives, these missions offer a chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our neighbors. Whether you're passionate about community building, environmental stewardship, or supporting those in need, there's a mission for you.

Cost: $600, Due by May 30th.

Middle School - Hinton Center

During the week of June 9-13, 2024 we are heading to the Hinton Rural Life Center! The Hinton Center has held summer missions for decades serving the Hayesville of Western North Carolina with their Safe and Healthy Home Initiative. Woodland UMC has held several mission trips to the cool temperatures of mountains over the last few years and time and time again, we have experienced amazing accommodations, exciting programing and most importantly meaningful relational missions. 

During our time at Hinton we will work on a home or community center as well as help in the local firewood lot or community garden. 

This form is for both adult leaders and youth participants.

Cost: $475, Due by May 9th.
