Coats 4 Kids

We are starting our 7TH Coats 4 Kids Mission this month. As before, we are collecting new or very gently used coats for children ages 6 through 11. As you are shopping this month through November, please purchase these and bring them to the church, to Room 309 (next to the little bathrooms in the SS wing), or drop them off during office hours.

Our plan this year is to take these to Ebenezer Avenue Elementary to be given to children in need. Donations to this fund are welcome and can be made on the church website under Giving/ UMM Coats 4 Kids, or via check to Woodland UMC (UMM Coats 4 Kids in the memo line).

We would love to expand this ministry to children in other elementary schools. If you know of a school that is willing to coordinate distributing coats to children in need, and are willing to coordinate getting donated coats to that school, please contact me at jamesbb2863@gmail.com.
