Getting Started with Scouting there are a few things to know:
Cub Scout Pack Vs Scout Troop:
Cub Scouts is K-5th grade
Troop is 6th-Eagle Scout.

Woodland Scouting Breakdown:
Cub Scout Pack 109 is for our elementary girls and boys
Troop 109 is for our 6th grade and up boys
Troop 007 is for our 6th grade and up girls
​​
When does Woodland Scouting Meet:
Mondays during the school year from 6:30-7:30 for Pack and 6:30-8:00 for Troops.

Cub Scout Books
Every Cub Scout Den has a Scout Book to help the scouts learn. There are also leader books for each Den to assist in teaching the kids. Each Den is associated with a school grade. They are:
Lion - Kindergarten (age 5-6)
Tiger - 1st Grade (age 6-7)
Wolf - 2nd Grade (age 7-8)
Bear - 3rd Grade (age 8-9)
Webelos - 4th Grade (age 9-10)
Arrow of Light (AOL) - 5th Grade (age 10-11)

Scout Books
Scouts who are 6th grade or older are now in the Scout Troop, which they will stay in until they achieve Eagle Scout. Troop Level Scouts have their own book to assist with their activities and lessons

Uniforms
Cub and Troop Scouts are expected to wear proper apparel and uniforms. Cub Scout Uniforms are Navy Blue and Troop Scout Uniforms are Khaki. Leader Uniforms are also Khaki. Our Pack and Troop also have shirts specifically for us to wear when we are out as a group, these are our Class B's.
