As you know, this years’ Cookie Walk will be “Cookie-Less”. The proceeds raised from this fundraiser are sent to a number of state and local missions and charities which rely on our support each year. So, throughout the month of December, you will have the opportunity to donate the amount of money you would have spent buying our cookies, treats and cakes, or in buying the ingredients to make your cookies, or whatever amount you are willing to donate.

 

The missions supported by our Cookie Walk include:

• Columbia and Spartanburg Bethlehem Community Centers - provides food, child and after school care with learning opportunities

• Killingsworth Center - assists women transitioning back into society

• Wallace Family Life Center - provides educational and religious programming for families

• Various missions in York County

 

You can donate by:

• Mailing your check to the church at 801 N. Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732

  • Make check out to Woodland UMC or Woodland UMW, and indicate “Cookie Walk” on the check

• Dropping off your donation at the church office weekdays between the hours of 9am-3pm Monday-Thursday or 9am-12am on Friday.

 

Please look for our bulletin board in the Sunday School wing where a “cookie jar” will be posted tracking our donations.
