Service Description

Troop 109 will host our newly bridged scouts for an introduction to camping in our annual Camping 101 campout at Chester State Park. Scouts should arrive before 5:00 pm on Friday March 28th. Pizza will be served at Woodland for Dinner and a cracker barrel will be held Friday night. We will do a short gear check and camping plan review and then will bus to Chester as a group. New scouts will recieve instruction on campsite & kitchen layout, camp scheudles, duties, sanitation & hygiene, pakcing, environmental considerations, tenting, woodworking, fire skills and most importantly Troop games. We will depart at apx. 9:30 am and will arrive at Woodland at 10:30.
